Michael DeBellis

Michael DeBellis began his career as a staff in the Artificial Intelligence group at Accenture in the early 1980's. This was the first major consulting group to focus on developing AI applications for Accenture's clients. Since then he has been a researcher at the Information Sciences Institute, principal investigator for research projects in Knowledge Based Software Engineering and Healthcare Integration funded by the USAF and NIST, a partner and the technical leader of Deloitte's eBusiness group where he built and led a highly profitable solution center in San Francisco dedicated to rapidly developing eBusiness systems,  the managing director for the Western US of Thoughtworks and most recently an independent researcher and consultant. He is an expert in Artificial Intelligence, the Semantic Web, and Agile software development.
